So, wie war mein allererster Flug? Etwas verrückt und anstrengend, aber die Aussicht war wunderschön 😍. Anstrengend und zeitaufwendig waren die ganze Kontrollen. Noch bin ich nicht sicher, ob ich das nicht zu abschreckend finde und lieber zukünftig Alternativen wähle. Und ja, es ist auch möglich mit dem Fahhrad nach Japan zu kommen, hab’ ich recherchiert :D. Wobei mir dann die Aussicht fehlen würde. Die Wolken von oben gesehen, nachts die Sterne und die Lichter der Städte und tagsüber die verschiedenen Landschaften - alles wunderschön! Verrückt war es ein wenig, weil mir ständig Sachen runtergefallen sind, aber so kam ich mit dem Mädel hinter mir ins Gespräch :D.

So, how was my very first flight? A bit crazy and exhausting, but the view was beautiful 😍. The security checks were exhausting and time-consuming. I’m not quite sure if it’s too deterrent or if I’d rather choose alternatives in the future. And yes, I have investigated that it is also possible to come to Japan by bike :D. But then I would miss the view. The clouds from above, the stars and lights of the cities at night and the different landscapes by day - all beautiful! It was a bit crazy, because I dropped a lot of my stuff, but that’s how I got into a conversation with the girl behind me :D.

Eigentlich hatte ich geplant nur mit Handgepäck zu reisen, aber leider wiegen gepackter Koffer und Rucksack nicht unter 8 kg. Mit Rechner und Kamera ist das aber auch schwer. Wobei mein Handgepäck auf dem Rückflug 25 kg wiegen darf :D. Aber wie trägt man sowas? 😮

Actually I had planned to travel only with carry-on baggage, but unfortunately the maximum combined weight of suitcase and backpack is over 8 kg. With laptop and camera it’s hard to keep the maximum weight. The carry-on baggage may weigh 25 kg on the return flight :D. But how to carry it? 😮

Auf dem Weg zum Kamakura Guesthouse bin ich einem älteren Herren begegnet, der großer Bob Marley Fan ist und der mich bis zur Unterkunft begleitet hat (Ich hab’ mich nicht verlaufen, war fast da!). Das war witzig ^^. Die ersten beiden Nächte habe ich im Schlafsaal für Frauen geschlafen. Tatami, Matten aus Reisstroh, die in traditionell japanischen Zimmern verwendet werden, sind großartig 😊. Und Futons, traditionell japanische Betten, mag ich auch sehr gerne!

On the way to the Kamakura Guesthouse I met an older gentleman who is a big Bob Marley fan and who accompanied me to the accommodation (I didn’t get lost, was almost there!). It was funny ^^. The first two nights I slept in the women’s dorm. Tatami, rice straw mats used in traditional Japanese rooms, are great 😊. And I also like futons, traditional Japanese beds, very much!
